{"id":229,"date":"2022-03-31T06:14:20","date_gmt":"2022-03-31T06:14:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flow-business-solution.com\/blog\/?p=229"},"modified":"2022-04-02T06:14:45","modified_gmt":"2022-04-02T06:14:45","slug":"foundational-values-for-management-and-life","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flow-business-solution.com\/blog\/foundational-values-for-management-and-life\/","title":{"rendered":"Foundational Values for Management (and Life)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Foundation of Management (and Life) is Values.\u00a0 This requires a personal examination of ourselves, the one in the mirror.\u00a0 These are not tools per se for our bag of skills.\u00a0 These values are our character.\u00a0 This examination is ongoing.\u00a0 If it is ongoing, you have an excellent chance of continual improvement.\u00a0 If we get to a point of saying, \u201cI have this figured out!\u201d that is a sure sign that we do not.\u00a0 Why?\u00a0 because the world is constantly changing, and the best managers and leaders continually find solutions to what comes around the corner.\u00a0 But, there are Foundational Values that drive these solutions.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your Foundational Values are; honesty, integrity and sincerity.\u00a0 When you look at these three characteristics, these three values, who are you? Are you honest? Do you live with a high degree of integrity? Are you sincere with people?\u00a0 If you say, \u201cYes,\u201d to these three characteristics, you\u2019re off to a good start.\u00a0 If you have an issue with one of these three, your first challenge is to fix the issue. You need it. You need these three values.\u00a0 There are offshoots of those values, as well. But right now, focus on these three.\u00a0 Who are you in relation to these three?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The next question is, who is the company that you work for? Do they have these same values?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You need to know what your company stands for so that you can avoid the risk of compromise. If your company does not have these three values, there will be times when you\u2019re going to be asked to do something that you don\u2019t want to do.
