This is a never-ending process because improvement is everywhere along the journey.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/flow-business-solution.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/image-1.png?resize=434%2C434&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-154\" width=\"434\" height=\"434\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/flow-business-solution.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/image-1.png?w=588&amp;ssl=1 588w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/flow-business-solution.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/image-1.png?resize=300%2C300&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/flow-business-solution.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/image-1.png?resize=150%2C150&amp;ssl=1 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 434px) 100vw, 434px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:350px\">\n<p>It\u2019s important to understand, as we get into the management skills area, that how you see yourself is foundational.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 You must be comfortable with who you are.\u00a0 Not only from your perspective, but from others\u2019 perspective as well.\u00a0 Don\u2019t worry, it should be a fun journey because revelation that leads to development is fun, because it also leads to success.\u00a0 You\u2019re probably going to find this to be the most difficult part of this discussion, because if you read it and you think about it, you should come out of it challenged. You may come out of it patting yourself on the back saying, \u201cYes, I\u2019ve got everything all lined up on these things.\u201d You may come out of it thinking, \u201cWell, I\u2019m 50% there.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>You may come out of it thinking you\u2019re only 10% there.\u00a0 It doesn\u2019t matter where you are. What matters is what you do with the information and look forward to the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Questions 4-6<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Number four, do you live the golden rule? The golden rule is, \u2018Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.\u2019 Do you live it, or do you turn your back on it?\u00a0 This is very important, so important that it is in Matthew chapter 7, verse 12.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The next one, do your employees know you? Do your employees know what motivates you? Do your employees know what your hot buttons are? Everybody has a personality. All leaders have a certain way about how they do things. There\u2019s nothing wrong with that. The important thing is, do your employees know what your hot buttons are?\u00a0 If they do, if they know you, you\u2019re going to get a lot more quality work done, because they\u2019re not going to be guessing what you\u2019re trying to do next. That doesn\u2019t mean there shouldn\u2019t be an element of uncertainty to a degree, just to keep people sharp. But as far as your day-to-day perspective and your day-to-day expectations, they need to know what that is. If they know you, you will get fewer questions and you will get better results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lastly, do your employees trust you? Employees need to trust you. They need to trust that what you do, they can rely on.\u00a0 As they watch you, they know what they\u2019re seeing and they know that you are who you say you are, so that they don\u2019t have to second guess what you\u2019re doing.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep all these questions in mind as we continue on.\u00a0 Most of what I am discussing with you will directly or indirectly line up with the correct answers to these questions.\u00a0 It is an enjoyable journey.\u00a0 Seeing smiling faces on your employees, and also on those who you report to, is one of the ways to sleep well at night.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let\u2019s continue to look at what you think of you and continue our look at ourselves in our mirror.\u00a0This is a never-ending process because improvement is everywhere along the journey.
